When you say all heroes of Doom must go blind in post/28229144515/all-heroes-of-doom-go-blind, I don't think that's necessarily correct. He said that becoming blind fufills some 'requirement for a true prophet of doom'. This implies more that all Mages of Doom (and perhaps seers, who can be interpretted as prophets) must go blind, not all heroes of Doom.
