So I was reading an AU story about the trolls if they'd never played Sgrub and it mentions Nepeta's job which involves being under fire (big surprise, it's Alternia), and I realized that I have no idea what she wanted to be when she grew up. Neither her wiki page or her first few intro pages say it. Does anyone actually know/was it ever said in canon?

I don’t think she wanted to be anything. She probably just wanted to continue her days hunting and rping, living in her cave.

What if the reason the Beta trolls are so fucked up (Kanaya's weird fondness for fashion, Equius' abnormal strongness, Gamze's Gamzee-ness, etc) was a result of Karkat giving everyone cancer while doing the ectobiological thingy?

I doubt it. Their dancestors share those specific traits. If you haven’t noticed, post-scratch troll society was kinda fucked up. Aradia was a ghost, Terezi was blind, Tavros couldn’t walk, Vriska lost an arm and an eye, Sollux went blind. Those weren’t caused by ectobiology. The trolls were just in-general fucked uo

Actually, um, if I may... Meenah is quoted as having said that she and her friends were the 'Alpha's somewhere... I'll find it, please give me a few minutes. It's in one of the games. Also, Vriska called Aranea her Alpha sister, I believe. I'll find the page for that, too...

It’s alright, another tumblr user shared that it was at the beginning of A6I3. I remember that Meenah did call her group the Alpha trolls at one point.

I’m not sure what you want me to explain exactly. So as an over view of her character: She was supreme ruler of the trolls, then they p. much went extinct, she was enslaved by Lord English, and now she simultaneously works for and against him. She took over Post-Scratch Earth and became the Queen of Derse in that universe. She is also working on rebreeding trolls into existence.

No,no,no, Beta trolls are the ones that interacted with the beta kids.

Hemospectrum order, top to bottom. Feferi’s first, to Aradia’s, and Karkat’s last counting him as a mutant and not as a limeblood stand-in.
