if caliborn was telling the story of his defeat then how was he going to fight yolobroth afterwards if he was stuck inside lil cal? how did he make the story in the first place even?

quadpen

The story is set in the future.  Caliborn watched it happen on one of the many screens on his planet and then made his claymations about it.

Hang on, when was it stated that sacrifical slabs only can be used with one life left? I honestly can't remember seeing any mention of a ceretain amount of lives limiting the use of quest beds/cocoons or slabs.

Anonymous

It’s implied.  Every time a Quest Bed has been used the player had two lives, and every time a Sacrificial Slab has been used they’ve had one.  I guess it could just be a coincidence, but I doubt it.

when is the next update coming?

While I know a lot of things, the future is not one of them.

So as of now, what trolls are dead?

flaminiafagiolina

All the ancestors minus the Condesce, all the pre-scratch trolls, Tavros, Nepeta, Equius, Eridan, and Feferi

Seeing as Vriska isn't in the final battle (As well as all of the other Trolls), what do you theorize will they be doing as the final battle occurs.

Anonymous

My guess is that the trolls teamed up with the Condesce since they have a common enemy in English and are working to finished the Alpha kids’ session and create the new universe. That or the trolls sat out since most of them aren’t God Tier.

what about the slabs within derse/prospit? Dave and Rose had one life left but they ascended by dying on the quest beds within the planet.

wizardshark

Dave and Rose used their slabs to ascend in Cascade.

Wait I thought doc scratch was made alchemically, not ectobiologically. I know that bec was made with ectobiology, but lil cal is a puppet and a que ball is a que ball, (also maybe Dave's green suit?) both of which are inanimate, so doesn't it make more sense to alchemize them together? Because they're objects with no genetic code. The only time ectobiology would be involved was making him into a first guardian via the MEOW code. ...right?

notarealcarrot

Doc Scratch was also made with the t1ckt0ck8r8kH34DShonkHONK genetic code written by Tavros, Aradia, Terezi, Vriska, and Gamzee.

So none of the beta trolls can ascend anymore because their moons were destroyed?

Anonymous

Right, they are forever mortal unless they find a way to reproduce their slabs

Theoretically could somebody ascend twice using the Sacrificial Slabs?

space-doritwo

No, Sacrificial Slabs only work if you have one life left.

Can a session that was created by a scratch, like the alpha kids' or Karkat's session, initiate a scratch?

entari0

I’m going to say no because a Scratch at it’s basic level just switches the ectobabies.  Once makes a difference, doing it a second time will just get the first results again and put the universe in an endless loop so I don’t Skaia would allow a second scratch.
