im trying to make a sort of DnD game based on homestuck. I have each player role for almost everything, including class and aspect. this campaign will be in a completely winnable sburb session, so the final bosses are the black king/queen. however, each character also has their personal mini boss and personal side-quest. should i base these things on their class, character personality, or a mix of both? and if u have specific suggestions that would help (:

It should be a mix of both. The mini-boss should be their denizen which is usually tied in with their aspects except for on special occasions. The personal side quest should be their planet quest which is dependent on the players’ planets.

There were a few that knew but most of the group did not know she was dead.
few questions: 1)since John died in the new session(a2?) and we have the 'original' John, would that mean that this Jade(A2) would be his sister stilloe not because she is the same/ different person, 2)what happens to your actual body when you ascend? does it stay dead or is it healed and asleep? and 3) what happened to everything in the pre-recton session? Was it erased/never happened or was it kept there(with the exception of LoWaS)

1. Jade is still his sister she just has different memories of their three year journey than he does since she was alone the entire time. 2. Your real body when you ascend stays dead. 3. The pre retcon timeline was erased since John prevented Aranea from getting the Ring of Life in the first place.
How do ghosts and dream bubbles work?

When you die, you wake up as a ghost in a dream bubble. The dream bubble’s environment can change according to the memories of the ghosts in the bubble.
Is the meteor fall event that starts in SBURB restricted to each session chain? As in would each session chain experience their meteor apocalypse at different times?

The meteors flying at Skaia is called the Reckoning and it’s initiated once the Black king and his army defeat the Prosptians. Depending on how many players there are, yes the Reckoning could happen at different times in different sessions. The Beta kids’ Reckoning happened early because Jack Noir killed both kings and started it before the war was over.
i always was confused about homestuck's multiple selves. so there's the real self and the dream self... the real self dies and the dream self becomes god tier, but if the dream self dies before that then you're fucked? like... that one green cherib's dream self died and she's never appeared again. but i think they said that lots of trolls' dream selves died, karkat's died especially fast, but karkat is still alive but can never go god tier?

The dream self only becomes a godtier if your main body dies on your Quest Bed. If your dream self dies then you can still use your Sacrificial Slab at the center of the moons of Derse or Prospit to ascend. Calliope’s dream self was killed and she never came back because Caliborn took over the body. Karkat’s dream self died and he has no way to go godtier because both his Quest Bed and Sacrificial Slab were destroyed by Bec Noir.
