do the alpha trolls have the same weapons as the beta trolls? ex: Meenah and Fef both have tridents

Most do share strife specibi except for the Megidos. Aradia used whipkind but Damara used two wands.

why are time players necessary ?

In case the session needs to be scratched. The scratch construct is located on the Time player’s planet.

how did aranea mind control gamzee into giving her the ring of life? i thought she could only control trolls lower then her on the hemospectrum

Aranea and Vriska’s mind control powers work on impressionable trolls or trolls with low self esteem, not just trolls lower than them on the hemospectrum. Aranea has had billions of sweeps to hone her abilities so it’s no surprise she was able to control Gamzee.

i thought the beta kid session didnt have a time or a space player because their session was null or s/t?

The Beta kid’s session does have Time and Space players: Dave and Jade.

i thought it was a knight and space? isn't that why karkat went with kanaya? karkat and Dave are both Knights and kanaya and jade are both space players...

Whether or not a session requires a knight class hero hasn’t been stated in-comic. Time and Space players however are required for a session.
