me and my friend were studying bugs awhile ago, and according to what we researched trolls should not have external ears at all, because they're arthropods and not mammals.

From a biological stand point you’re right, but this in no way diminishes the possibility of trolls having external ears, pointed or otherwise.

Im p sure the sprites in the ministrife flash had pointed ears? 0:

Again, made by a fan = not canon

Did jade bring Prospit from their session along with them to the new session?

Anonymous

Nope, just the player planets and the Beta’s Battlefield

Are there also no canon representation of the trolls not having pointed ears? So therefore there is still a possibility and head canons with them being pointed aren't technically wrong?

Anonymous

Right, the whole point of the minimalist character design is to allow fans to give characters whatever physical traits they see fit. There’s is absolutely nothing wrong with headcannoning that trolls have elf ears, it just is not canon, that’s all.

I thought the trolls had elf ears in a few different cases. I'm not sure about when shit went down in act 5 but I know it was in the Vriska Instagram thing.

Those interpretations were done by fan artists and hold no canonical power over character appearances.

Do you believe Eridan also canonically went grimdark? What causes one to go grimdark? And was Jade's grimbark also her going grimdark?

Anonymous

No, I believe it to be when one is under a great deal of horrorterror influence but that’s debatable, and I’d say no but some say yes.

Do you think that the reason that Vriska was treating (Vriska) like she treated Tavros and Jake was because (Vriska) inverted into a Page of Void?

nintenbro1

Yes

What's this hope and heart sceptre theory I saw some people mentioning on your blog? Why hope and heart?

Anonymous

Because the Rings are of Void and Life which are Jane and Roxy’s aspects. Heart and Hope are Didk and Jake’s so, scepters.

Theory of Classpect Inversion? Oh, I'm curious! What is it about?

Anonymous

You can read the full theory here.  But in short, when a player is overly resistant to their role or if they are corrupted by an outside source then their role will inverse meaning that their aspect and class unofficially shift to their opposites. Light to Void, Space to Time, Witch to Seer*.

*This can change depending on how you classify the classes into Active/Passive partnerships

is the grimdark = inversion theory true?? or just widely accepted fanon?

Anonymous

Grimdark can cause inversion like it did with Rose (making her act more like a Witch of Void) but since we’ve only seen one instance of grimdark we don’t know if it inverses the afflicted’s classpect every time.
