Why is it that when the trolls did scratch Beforus became Alternia but when the kids did it the planet stayed Earth? Even if the trolls was the same planet why was the name different but the kids name stayed the same?

Doc Scratch got involved and changed troll society dramatically, which I suppose resulted in naming the planet something different.
