I am also a libra who loves Gamzee as a character but has thought at times that he is indeed, the Worst Person. Now, I've heard the arguments, and I get what people mean when they say he's black/poor/neurodivergent coded, and I've actually had long conversations with ppl about this. My take is - The lack of attention and dialogue from him recently helps Goddamn None. Cal has obviously affected him, but we all agree Bro is at fault in a similar situation; Cal just exaggerated his worst traits.

Well, I have this discussion once or twice a year so I’m pretty used to it

First of all, I just want to say thanks for the hard work you guys do! Secondly, I'm just curious if you, as people who have put a great deal of time into knowing Homestuck, would recommend it to someone who knows nothing about it? Would you say it'd be better or worse to get into now that its past the insane height of popularity it once reached?

There are ups and downs to getting into it now.

You’ll miss the sense of community. The fandom used to be so much more tight knit and fun.

But you also won’t have to deal with the hordes of fans at every convention and all the bucket phase kids.

But yes, I’d recommend it. I’d always recommend it, Homestuck is one of the best pieces of fiction I’ve ever come across.

Other Anons : Guys, this person was asked an opinion on Gamzee, and answered honestly. Then 1st anon was being rude af by saying "gamzee hating thinkpan" (admin said nothing about hating him!) because they answered the opinionated question honestly. So don't complain about "biased" when it was an opinionated question anyways! Don't complain it has nothing to do with hs asks when admin was just answering an ask! This person was not "hating" at all, they stated an opinion and backed it up w facts!
