They did not. Part of the reason they needed to Scratch was because they hadn’t made themselves. In other word: They needed to scratch in order for them to be born

What was Grimdarkness meant to so anyway? Scratch said Roses Magic was actually the will of the horror terrors, and she went grimdark under their influence, but she was still mostly the same, and in control. Was it essentially a power-up?

Grimdark is unknown, but Trickster seems to just wear off after awhile.

I'm I right in saying the Medium is the space between universes? And that's the reason the trolls could reach the green sun from there?

The Furthest Ring is the space between Incipispheres which the Medium is apart of. All sessions take place in the same dimension.
