ok so whats the deal with davesprite? For some reason I thought that he was dying and that was his main character trait? Like looking at Jadesprite sadly and losing feathers n breaking up with Jade, for some reason I was convinced he was slowly dying

I mean he was supposed to eventually since he was a doomed Dave. But he also had some serious wounds inflicted by Bec Noir including one of his wings having been ripped off that took awhile to heal so he did look like he was dying for quite some time.
Where is the Davesprite that didn't become Davepeta?

Hey there; I love your blog! I have a quick question though. In the battle against English Jack and Slick, Dave uses Caledfwl (or however you spell it) doesn't he? How did he obtain it, since it was only alchemitized in the Game Over timeline?

He got a broken version back in Act 5 Act 2. Which was stolen by Hephaestus’s minion where it was likely fixed since Hephaestus loves that sword. Either Dave got it from him or just made another one off screen.

Oh in that case. Jade had to suffer the lose John did as apart of the deal. As for why so early in the trip, it’s because that’s just when he woke up. Upon waking up he acquired the knowledge of the deal John had made in the other timeline and followed through with it.
Whatever happened to the post-retcon jaspersprite? The one that travelled with Jade on the golden battleship?

Retcon, Retroactive Continuity. It is going back and changing or adding to a previously established fact.
In Homestuck’s terms it is different than time travel. It effects the Narrative itself rather than just a timeline and as such avoids the creation of doomed timelines. Material in the Furthest Ring (dream bubbles and horror terrors) are immune to any changes likely (speculation) because they exist slightly outside the Narrative taking place almost exclusively in Intermissions.
So does everyone forget that John can turn into the wind when he wants to, because he did that to evade Jade when she was evil? Did he lose that power later in the comic?
He first used it against Bec Noir while he was asleep, but no he didn’t loose that power, he should still have it
why did typheus have to be a dick and kill john so early on in the journey? why couldn't he kill him near the journeys end?

Typheus killed John because he went to them too early, before he meant to. Besides if he hadn’t then Davesprite never would have existed.
