They deny Jane and Roxy are anything but straight, deny roxycal (who went on a candlelight date) while treating davejadekat (hung out for 2 panels once) as Indisputably Canon, said there’s “no inherent problem” with dirk/roxy and that people who hate on it are assholes, just in general claim to be a source of “Unbiased Canon Facts” while being homophobic douchecanoes and pushing their het bs on everyone

They also have implied that they don’t think davekat is canon, i can understand that theyre pretty much just using davejadekat as a means to make it “more straight” instead of because they actually like it or care about poly relationships.

i dont care what they do at this point, but theyre disregarded as being a good source for anything. homestuck is an lgbt+ webcomic, people with homophobic bias on it arent able to publish trustworthy information.

I implied DaveJadeKat was canon ONCE (I also implied CalliRoxy was canon in the same post but no one seems to want to bring that up) and then admitted I jumped the gun a few hours later.

Davekat is canon, but not out rightly stated to be, so if I say it’s canon I get yelled at me for not sticking to the facts

I was not calling lgbt+ people “yaoi fangirls”, I was listing different responses I have gotten in the past for claiming that John was straight ( a statement supported by canon). I did not intend for it to be taken as me calling lgbt people yaoi fangirls, I apologize that it came off as such.

I am not an unbiased source of information and never claimed to be, I try to keep my bias to a minimum but it does come through occasionally. Yesterday was not one of those days, I do believe Roxy is lgbt, but I was trying to stick to the facts and keep my own opinions out of it.

And I’m not homophobic, I am literally gay, like super gay. I literally do not give a shit what people are, you could be one of those really specific obscure sexualities that people make fun of all the time, and I would just be “you do you” because my life philosophy has been to let people do what they want as long as they aren’t hurting anybody.  Some anon who enjoys dirk/roxy is not hurting anybody. Literally no one is being hurt by this one rando ignoring canon to enjoy something. If a Homestuck movie or something came out and made Dirk straight then yeah, There’s some homophobic shit there, that’s bad, but some single individual person with no influence over others whatsoever’s opinion is literally not hurting anyone. I’m sorry if you feel otherwise.

I’m done talking about this and I don’t intend to ever discuss character sexuality, canon or otherwise on this blog ever again. Unfollow me if you want, that’s fine,but if you would please stop spreading half-truths about me I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good week.

If there is an Eridan discourse it’s mostly people going “Eridan is a bad guy” and then people replying with “Okay, but he was doing it for X reason”, and then someone going 

and that’s basically that. Eridan isn’t as complex a character as Vriska or Gamzee so there’s not as much material to form an argument around. Plus he killed Feferi, a person he had been salty about not dating him for the entire story so there was less sympathy for him because it felt like something that could probably happen in real life (just with less white magic and lasers). That’s my interpretation of the matter at least
