if everyone's arguing this anyway, didn't dead dream jade interact with the pre-scratch trolls? 'cause that was one of the reasons she was so sad to be jadesprite

partyinthesockdrawer

That’s probably what happened, but she never says for shore.

Man, you're getting a lot of hate today. Bug off, anons.

Eh, I’m p bored so I don’t mind the h8.

Jade had a Magic Cue Ball in her chest in the beginning -- p=002703 is when we first see it, then she picks it and the Magic 8 Ball up and there's some exposition on it on p=002705. This is the first time the Magic Cue Ball shows up in the comic, and it is likely that Rose later came into possession of it, since I don't think there are very many of them in existence, and Mindfang/Vriska's exploded.

Bonus Fact: Doc Scratch once refereed to the Magic Cue Balls as his seeds.

olivemeister replied to your post: c…

didn’t porrim make up the term?

Porrim was the first one to canonlly use the term, yes.

~Mod T

In this walkthrough with Meenah, she refers to herself and her friends as the alpha trolls when talking with Aranea for the first time.

Ah yes thank you, I was just about to look that up.

I think that last anon was just making a joke and didn't actually mean any offense by it.

destructiondragon360

And I was just joking with them. Sarcastic humour doesn’t translate well over the internet, gomen.

~Mod T

Excuse me, no it wasn’t? I was just telling him it’s not a forgotten fact.  I meant no offense by it. If you took offense, then sorry I guess.

~Mod T

could you tell me why the dancestors are called that?

Anonymous

It’s an abbreviation of Descendant and Ancestor.

“Due to the complexities in familial relationships from each player group considering themselves the descendants and their counterpart player group the ancestors, causing confusing terminology, the term originated as a portmanteau of descendant and ancestor as a single simple term to describe the relationship. It is likely that Porrim was referring primarily to troll players, possibly as a reference to the fact that it is not apparently known which set is the biological ancestry of the other.

By contrast, for the humans, it is known that the B2 kids are the parents of the B1 kids. However, as the term appears to mostly deal with the "perceived” direction of the relationships, it could be seen as applicable to the humans as well; as few of them are aware that their grandparents/ancestors are their children. Roxy has started to catch on to it after seeing Rose in a dream bubble for the second time. Jade has long since been aware that her “pen pal” is her grandson, but she has never indicated awareness that Jake is also her grandfather.“
