Where are the dreambubbles even located?

In the area between sessions, the Furthest Ring.

my favourite thing about homestuck is that everyone calls him alpha dave, but he's really beta dave, isn't he? could you elaborate a bit on this?

Anonymous

*sigh* This is where it gets confusing and the alpha crap start to overlap. No, he is not the Dave from the Alpha kids’ universe so yes technically he’s Beta Dave but he is the Dave that is from the Alpha timeline meaning he isn’t from a doomed timeline which is why he’s referred to as Alpha Dave. Davesprite on the other hand, from a doomed timeline, not an Alpha Dave.

I remember when I first started following this account it just posted random Homestuck facts people may have forgotten and that was nice, now it's just miles of the same questions over and over again that people could've figured out somewhere else. Ever thought about making those two separate maybe? The questions just feel like a bit much sometimes

I tag all the questions for exactly this reason, if you don’t want to see them feel free to blacklist it or unfollow and track the forgottenhsfact tag which is what all official fact posts are tagged with when uploaded.

If you had to sum up the homestuck series in 5 words, what would they be?

What the fuck is happening?

I thought Kanaya's dream self died in the Jack Attack: Prospit Edition

Yes she did

Re: sacrificial slabs on the moons; that's not entirely accurate. Off the top of my head, I know Vriska, John, Jade and Dave at least all have quest beds on their world.

mycanonicallife

Quest Beds are different than Sacrificial Slabs.

Was there something bad that happens when you use the sacrificial slabs, or is that just an easier route?

Anonymous

The Sacrificial Slabs are essentially a backup to be used if a player only has one life left. It’s not necessarily easier and nothing bad comes because they are used.

How is Aradia able to travel through dream bubbles if she isn't dead?

butchcetacean

Anyone can travel through the dreambubbles but only the living, like Aradia can leave. She stays because she wants to.

What is the Beat Mesa and why did John scratch it?

Anonymous

The Beat Mesa is a container of large amounts of temporal energy. John scratched it to release the energy so Skaia would have enough juice to change the course of the ectobaby’s meteors and rewrite history. Thus is the process of the Scratch.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I'm looking thru every queston on this blog and it takes a while but do you know how Jade was able to get her own dead dremself body? her grandpa had it on his ship if I remember correctly

skittlebuggy

Yes, Granpa brought it back to Earth with him, stuffed it as is family tradition and put it in the attic where it stayed until Jade found it.
