If someone whose dream self is alive dies and no one ends up kissing their corpse, does their dream self die as well?

Yes, except for in Aradia’s case since she died before the game started.

What happens if a player were to die before entering the Medium, but were somehow revived before entering as well? Is that possible? More of a opinion question I guess since its never happened (the closest instances being with Sollux and the Alpha kids).

That did happen with Roxy and Dirk. In that case they could use the teleporters on Prospit and Derse to get back to Earth. The Derse duo ended up entering with Jake. How other players would pull that off is unknown, they’d probably have to hitch a ride home.

I'm not sure the dream self thing is accurate (if the dream self were on the sacrificial slab). I don't recall Waking Self wounds ever taking effect on a Dream Self. If Dream Selves were injured and died in sync with their respective players, then what would be the point of having one?

After Vriska was beat up by Aradia her dreamself started to bleed too. And they don’t die in sync. There’s a bit of a delay to give other players time to kiss the dead one to wake their dreamself or to get them to the questbed/cocoon. Obviously if they died at the same time they wouldn’t be able to ascend.

Dirk always had control of his dreamself, so does that mean the kiss that AR urged between Jake and headless Dirk wasn't necessary whatsoever? So in other words it was just part of AR's, and possibly also Dirk's, manipulative schemes to mess with jake?

No, it was necessary. Dirk’s dreamself was knocked out at the time and the kiss woke him up.

No, Aradia’s dreamself was killed by Bec Noir while on her slab which is why she ascended. Since she died before the game started her dreamself his not take on her wounds.

Who or what determines the Alpha Timeline? If Paradox Space determines it, then why are there failed sessions unless those are apart of Paradox Space's "plan"?

The Alpha timeline is the once that leads to the birth of a new universe. Doomed timelines are supposed to happen, occasionally doomed timelines require some sort of time travel to go back and change the timeline, in theses instances if the doomed timeline didn’t happen then the Alpha timeline wouldn’t be able to happen either.

How is Vriska able to use aradia's time traveling boxes? I thought Gamzee could use them because he had the jokerkind abstratus. (I forget what Vriska has)

Time travelling devices are not weapons and therefore do not require a specibus to use them. And Vriska has dicekind.

Yes, the scratch construct has to be scratched (hehe) with the Quills of Echidna in order for it to activate.
