John met Dave pre-retcon in Dave’s room after they arrived in the Alpha session.

But post-retcon Dave’s first irl meeting with John is right now on the platform.

There are different types of grubs, Game Grubs, like the ones on Sollux’s floor are just one type.

Those specific types of grubs are used as computer games so Sollux has them all plugged into his computer

Thank you, it’s been that for about three years I think, long before my time as a mod. I do remember that it was changed to Jade because she used to forget things in the beginning of the story.

so this has been bothering me: why are the PRE scratch trolls called the "alpha trolls" but the POST scratch kids are the "alpha kids?"

It’s based on the version of the game they played. Pre-scratch kids played the Sburb Beta and the post-scratch kids played the Sburb Alpha.

You pick a keyword and Ctrl+F that son of a bitch until you find a source or explanation or whatever the hell you’re looking for. You also have to factor in quirks so you might need to search it in the quirk.
