sorry if this is a FAQ but what happens if you only prototype once? will anything bad happen or do you just run the risk of something stupid getting accidentally prototyped additionally (the way jasprosesprite^2 was created)
All the trolls except Aradia prototyped once so nothing bad is caused because of it.

The Harlequin doll that John prototyped had it’s arm cut off by shards of glass. Bec Noir and PM inherited that trait because of the Queen’s ring.

It isn’t canon that Dualscar has the purple streak. This is the only picture we see of him in canon.

That John was killed by Typheus, Jade never entered since John died, and that Rose using some kind of Seer bullshit managed to merge her consciousness with the main Rose by going to sleep right as Dave travelled back in time.
