Yes, and it wasn’t stated, they just didn’t have anyone with time travel capabilities until the Beta kids showed up to make doomed timelines

There are no Alpha kids there because they had no doomed timelines (except GO),but they do dream there. That’s where Jake first met Aranea and BG!Dirk gave him a boner, it was very embarrassing.
