That whole timeline ceased to exist once Dave went back in time to become Davesprite.

Erisolsprite confirms that here. They were dating but Jake was overwhelmed by Dirk’s overbearing personality and decided to leave to Lomax and not answer Dirk’s messages. Then Dirk broke up with him during the trickster arc.

ive seen some theories that davekat is a multi-quadrant relationship (or rather just a human one.) while im certain that davekat is canon is there any substantial evidence to back up them being in a multi-quadrant relationship or is that merely a theory?
