A First Guardian is an entity that draws power from the Green Sun and “facilitates the planet’s true purpose”. Each planet has a First Guardian. Jade’s dog Bec is the pre-scratch First Guardian of Earth and Gcat is the post-scratch First Guardian. They’re created with an especially potent genetic code that grants them omniscience and other powers like teleportation.

i have never understood ectobiology! how does it work, what does it do, and what was the purpose in the sessions? thank you, and have a nice day! :-)
Ectobiology is necessary to produce the players and complete the time loop and in case of a scratch where you would have another group of players available.
