Aranea tampered with the luck of that outcome (hence the light symbol, a flash of her eyes over the clock just before it stopped in the center, and the "lucky break" that appeared above). Jade's death is even MORE debatable as Just than Vriska's.

Actually, the "Vriska lives, everyone dies" timeline was a "hypothetical timeline" by Doc Scratch! Terezi herself felt that letting Vriska go wasn't a choice at all, so that timeline could not have come to pass. (She beat herself up over that fact for years to come, too.)

Actually, we don't know whether Vriska's death was just or heroic. It could have been just for the reason you mentioned, or heroic for letting Terezi do it and get closure, ect., by killing her.

I'm reading back through the ancestors games(A6I3), and I was wondering if there was any significance to the parallels of the relationships between horuss X rufioh and jake X dirk, like the kissing the dead head and letting the dream-self take over, and the robot-selfs that dirk/horuss made for jake/rufioh?? They seem eerily similar.

There are some theories that Damara parallels Jane and that Jane will snap and mangle Jake like what Damara did to Rufioh.

It’s just one theory, if you dig around you can find more detail and/or other theories.
