They are already made as seen on the Alpha kids’ planets where all the consorts had been dead of many years.

Dad is the son of Nanna and some Mystery Suitor. John is the biological son of Nanna and Grandpa. They share one parent, therefore they are half-brothers.

Can you explain the retconning to me? I was confused when I read about it.

Retconning is changing what happened in canon after the fact. John is going back and changing parts of the story. And unlike time travel he doesn’t have to worry about creating doomed timelines.
