Me and my friend are fighting over if Eridan went grimdark or not, I know he didn't but she still says that he did. So did he really go grimdark or nah?

No, Eridan never went grimdark. The panel where people say his skin looks darker than usual is because of the color contrast.

Can a troll be in more than one quadrant with someone? For example, like if their matesprit wanted to auspisticize between them and someone else.. Is that allowed? o3o

Anonymous

The relationships in the quadrants can malleable especially in the concupiscent half. One trolls could have black feelings while the other has red feelings. This can cause them to vacillate between the two quadrants.  I’m not sure about the matesprit also serving as an auspistice, that seems like it would be a difficult relationship.

Is there any other deaths other than 'Just' and 'Heroic'? Not like the 'die-and-come-back, but is there a third permanent death for godtier?

Anonymous

No, Just and Heroic are the only ones.

If a death is neither just nor heroic, say, the player is sitting around doing nothing, and someone kills them, or, say, if they are neutral and got caught up in the fight somehow, what happens to the player?

If they’re a Godtier then they’ll be resurrected.

You guys are a blessing to this earth for answering these questions. This blog has helped me understand homestuck more and I'm very grateful

Thank you and I’m glad you enjoy the blog.

Has the thing about ascending with dreamselves on Questbeds and without on sacrificial slabs been confirmed? Or is it just a theory based on the ascensions we've seen so far? And where did the name "sacrificial slab" come from?

Anonymous

Calliope uses the term here and mentions that since the Alpha kids have no more dream selves that dying on their Quest Beds would do them no good and that they need to use their Sacrificial Slabs at the center of Derse and Prospit’s moons.

I thought an auspitice is a troll who basically keeps your kismisitude from becoming unhealthy, not like a kismisis cock block

Anonymous

No an auspistice, as stated on this page, keeps a feud between two trolls from becoming a kismessitude.

this is probably a silly question but why does vriska have both eyes now? is it because she ascended to god tier?

Anonymous

Yes it is because she ascended.

can you tell me what a kismesis and an auspistice is? (I know it's a really stupid question)

Anonymous

A kismesis is your caliginous partner. An auspistice is your ashen mediator. A kismesis is an especially potent arch rival that you find attractive. An auspistice is a troll who keeps you from developing a kismesissitude with another troll.

forgive me if i'm wrong, but isn't karkat jade's patron troll?

Yes
