Okay, I’ll link the panel, but he likely wasn’t saying he had a crush on John and Jade, he was asking Dirk how to tell them about his sexuality because he ends that conversation with “how did you tell your friends”.
Considering Signless/Disciple was outside of the quadrants and monogamous it seems to suggest that Karkat is also naturally monogamous and that's why he felt that way about Terezi, not that it was specifically something unhealthy by itself. Cause at that point you're saying that monogamy is unhealthy.

Or remember when Dave broke up with Terezi BECAUSE he was uncomfortable with her dating Gamzee at the same time? Also that part about penis ouija, right before that Karkat had a conversation where he said he wanted her "in every quadrant" specifically so that he "could have her all to himself" and compared it to joke characters in troll romcoms

A. I don’t think it’s that uncommon for a person to get jealous or flustered or whatever when their partner brings up an old flame or crush
B. Dave broke up with Terezi because she didn’t tell him she was also hatedating Gamzee and he didn’t understand it.
C.That doesn’t really factor into potential polyamory but rather highlights Karkat’s weird obsession and idealization of Terezi

Hi, I'm an avid davejadekat shipper and I've seen many dav//ekats saying that Dave and karkat are both "uncomfortable" in poly ships. However I have yet to see proof of this. Could you hook me up with something? (If there is anything)

They’re probably referencing the time when Dave and Terezi were dating and Karkat trying to convince Dave that they could share her based on Quadrant Vacillation (like Dave could date her flushed when Karkat was feeling black on her and Dave could kinda just leave the equation when Karkat started feeling red) but Dave didn’t understand Quadrant System (side step: which is why he inevitably broke up with TZ) but aside from the non-understanding of the system, Terezi wasn’t even apart of the conversation and it was bad.
But we’re dealing with a much different and understanding Dave post-retcon and also a human polyamorous relationship and not a troll quadrant vacillation system so who knows.
Davepeta said that the Dave side of them felt right about having ROMANTIC feelings for Karkat. Also are you saying that the whole part with Roxy asking Dave if he had ever kissed anyone/was in love while Rose was egging him on was just nothing? Come on, man.

Again man, I’m with you guys, I don’t ship Davekat but I do think it’s canon, but I’m the facts guy, I’m just giving facts and different ways they can be read, gotta try to be impartial.
I mean we never see Korra and Asami kiss or say they're dating and the creators confirmed they totally are and people still deny it. Shippers hang on to whatever scrap of denial they can find and nothing short of Dave saying "i romantically love karkat vantas were not just friends" would change their mind.

Which y’know, it shouldn’t matter if your ship is canon or not. Like you can still ship it, it’s totally fine. I mean, I ship this unholy abomination which will absolutely never ever be canon and it’s absolutely chill. Just because your ship isn’t canon doesn’t mean it’s any less valid or that you can’t ship it anymore (despite what some shipping elitists might tell you).
Didn't jasprosesprite and nepeta talk about how Dave and Karkat were dating? And I think Vriska and maybe even John said something about it too?
