The trolls’ universe is tied to the life of their Black Queen so when she was shot in S Cascade, their universe died.

I have an opinion about the narrative relevance of the alternian trolls and I'd like you to correct me if I'm wrong or misled: I see Karkat, Vriska, Terezi and Kanaya as the four main trolls to the story. Tavros, Gamzee, Aradia and Sollux also hold some importance but not much spotlight. Eridan, Feferi, Nepeta and Equius had their moments but are overall useless and unconsequential to the plot. Tell me, it is a misconception of my part?

Idk how much this makes sense, maybe I've just been watching too many terminator movies but do you think Skaianet is named in reference to Skynet? Because they're both computer programs that ended the world?
