Rose became grimdark because she looked in the white cue ball to ask if the Horrorterrors were evil. Jade going “grimbark” is just a pun on her being possessed by the Condesce with the animal control power.

so what happened between meenah and vriska? i quite literally couldn't read that much text id also like to say thank you bc for someone who's unable to focus and whose head hurts when i read the comic with so much same colour text you have helped me a lot

Meenah left punk Vriska to go with post-retcon Vriska. Punk Vriska was last seen crying. Meenah and the post-retcon Vriska went to gather a ghost army but discovered that pre-retcon Tavros had already done so.

Doc Scratch was made from Lil Cal and a white cue ball so it makes sense that he was a puppet.
