Split timelines. The Alpha kids he made would grow up to be the guardians in one timeline and the alpha kids in another

In the header during the Doc Scratch narration section there’s a part where a young Handmaid tries to flee and if you hover over it it says “HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO OUTRUN ME WHEN I AM ALREADY HERE”

is there a rule that says one can only ascend god tier with their own quest cacoon/sacrifical (cacoon??? idk) for example do you think kanaya could use jade's slab to ascend? they're both space players and kanaya could understand jade's denizen and the denizen gave her a choice.
