Because Lord English instigated many, many major events that shifted the timeline to what it is and if they stop him from being created they break a time loop and pretty much fuck everything up and doom their timeline
gamzee apologists were saying he was coded to be poor, but i dont remember that? could you link to evidence of that?

It depends my first read through took a couple weeks, some people only take a few days. It depends on how committed you are, also how good you read.
