We can deduce from this that Kanaya is a bit of a neat-freak.

Thank you for all the compliments and kind messages I’ve received regarding my asexuality but if you intend to ask questions about it, that’s fine, but this blog is not really the place for Ace Q&A so please send them to me on my personal blog here.

Hello everyone, it’s Mod T from the fairly successful blog, forgottenhsfacts. As many of you may or may not know today is “National Coming Out Day”, at least here in the good ol’ US of A anyway. And I thought I would use my power for a good purpose for once.
Most of you probably don’t know this, but I’m asexual. And no, that doesn’t mean I can reproduce on my own or that I’m attracted to the letter A. The dictionary definition of asexual is “a person who has no sexual feelings or desires”. But what it means to be asexual varies from person to person. Some asexuals are repulsed by sex, some just don’t enjoy it, and some simply aren’t sexually attracted to people. There are a lot of variables to asexuality and making up just 1% of the population there aren’t a lot of us around to teach others about it. Many people choose not to believe in asexuality, thinking that if you identify as asexual you were either abused or “just haven’t found the right person yet”. Due to this neglect and ignorance of asexuals paired with our overly sex-obsessed society many aces may believe that there’s something wrong with them, that they’re broken because they don’t have the same sexual desires as their peers. So if someone comes out to you as asexual, don’t mock or dismiss them. Asexuality is just as important as any other sexuality, and we need support too. Thank you.
