As for in asks, I can try. It’s been attempted in the past but never sticks for very long.

The search feature on the blog can be helpful too if you’re just looking for things that include a certain character

also this is definitely not forgotten enough but how do you manage to comb through the all of homestuck and find extremely specific pages when it's so long? because this seems incredibly amazing to me.

What was the point of the barcode tattoos that the mayor and spades slick had? Did they ever do anything? (or were they some sort of representation of the most primitive battllefield?)

It’s to show that they were cloned. Hussie stated in an old Formspring Q&A that all Carapacians are cloned aside from the Kings and Queens and thus have the tattoo.

Is it ever explicitly stated that Jade has narcolepsy, or is it just implied?

It’s stated right in her intro, but we later learn she didn’t actually have narcolepsy, it was just Vriska testing her powers out on humans

Hussie has said a lot of things jokingly in his Q&As such as the Squiddles thing and Sollux being short for Solluxander

does terezi ever refer to kanaya as something along the lines of "mr appleberry blast" or "miss blueberry" like she does some other people?

I don't think anyone knows this but after I thought about it for a while, the Piexes are related to the Egbert/Harley/English/Crockers because ectobiology.

The Peixes are related to the Prospit kids and their Guardians via Adoption, not ectobioology. They aren’t any Troll/Human hybrids walking around that we know about.

So, the trolls. Since we know none of them were actually born out of a mother grub, but were ectobiologically created and then landed via meteor, this means that any "descendants" are possibly not the ONLY descendants. Specially since the ancestors were legally obligated to provide genetic material. So, wouldn't this mean that, possibly, there were actually (not anymore, obvs, since they all died) "siblings" to the player trolls? Trolls with the same blood color and symbol, and ALSO descendants?

It is entirely possible, except probably to the Sufferer since he grew in secret to conceal his mutation and thus likely was never forced to fill a bucket.

How does a forge get lit? I've reread HS twice and the best I can guess is that Echidna lit it once Jade talked to her?

You light the forge by dropping the Queen’s rings into it. If you meant stoke the forge, well that’s not entirely clear. Davesprite says “ so jade must have done something right, to wake [Echinda] up and get the forge going, dont know what she did though” which could mean you need to wake Echinda in order to stoke it or that Echinda will just wake up when you do. We just aren’t sure.
