Homestuck is a computer game. That was our cursor interacting with the story. You can see the MSPA reader at their computer a few times throughout the story. As well as the actual Homestuck disks and cartridge in late A5A2 and Mid-Act 6 respectively

A follow-up to the ask about underlying mental disorders; doesn't Rose at one point mention how Dave is mentally unstable? I have a vague memory of them talking about Rose being a therapist or something similar, I'm not sure. Do we ever get any further information about what she meant by that or were they just joking around?

Glubglub was not, she was placed on Alternia by Doc Scratch. And I don’t believe so, she likely was raised by members of the Beforan Feferi’s court since Beforus was a less competitive society

It could. Karkat calls her autistic once but that could have just been him being a jerk. Nepeta being autistic is not 100% canon confirmed.

Dirky boy definitely has something, mad Depression for sure. I’ve seen arguments for him having NPD. But Dave doesn’t really shown signs of that. He’s got more of a depression fueled inferiority complex.

there was no DEAD text that accompanies most deaths so it was likely he was only at death’s door and Fef healed him
