i feel like approaching with the mentality of 'straight until proven otherwise' in regards to characters like john & jane & roxy is kind of eeeeeh but i guess its whatever you want to believe. wouldn't agree with calling their straightness 'canon' though, as its never confirmed.

There’s canon evidence behind John and Jane being straight tho and yes they could grow and figure out that they weren’t but based on the evidence presented, canonically they’re likely straight

Yes, several times, B2 Rose was Roxy’s guardian, much like B1 Roxy was Rose’s guardian, but genetically, biologically Roxy is Rose’s mother
"Jane is canonically straight" what are you talking about?? she flirts with Callie in homestuck proper and literally goes on a date with her and Roxy in the snapdates. what. the. fuck. and also yes Roxy canonically is bi or pan for the same reason.
People are gonna send me shit either way, I’m just trying to stay neutral, It’s all debatable. Like I said, they haven’t kissed on screen or explicitly said they were dating so people can debate it.
Jane and Dirk talk about how Jake was their only viable romantic choice, canon statement in favor of her being straight. Her going to dinner with Roxy, and Callie, not so much, it depends on how you interpret it, it could be seen as a date or it could be seen as friends going out to eat. I’m just trying to stick with the objective facts.

I agree with you but people won’t accept that. Them having dinner and living together ins’t enough. They need to either state outright that they’re dating or kiss. Davekat did neither of those things and there are still people that dispute its canoninity
I thought that Roxy was pan or bi but respected everyone else's sexuality and stuffs

Roxy has only outright expressed interest in dudes, I mean she calls Jane hot but given their friendship/personalities it’s most likely in a supportive friend way, but think what you like.
