Split timelines. The Alpha kids he made would grow up to be the guardians in one timeline and the alpha kids in another

In the header during the Doc Scratch narration section there’s a part where a young Handmaid tries to flee and if you hover over it it says “HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO OUTRUN ME WHEN I AM ALREADY HERE”
