do you know/like the fanfiction serendipity gospels? I agree that gamzee isn't a very good person (in any universe, really) but favorite homestuck fanfic actually has him as one of the main characters. :,D

So I was having some hardcore act 1 feelings, and I got to thinking about jade. We assume that the kids all went to schools of some sort, but jade lived on a deserted island, leading me to believe she taught herself everything. Did 13 yr old jade actually teach herself nuclear physics and everything else she was into? And on top of that, we know that grandpa Harley was alive and died at some point in the island- did jade perform taxidermy on her dead grandfather's corpse????

Yes, Jade did taxidermy her dead grandpa. Also, she had the internet so she probably just used that to research her interests.

I disagree about the dragon plush being a joke. Small changes in psychology build up over time. John saving the witness would psychologically be a big push for Terezi when it came down to Vriska as a witness from murder.
