When someone creates a doomed timeline it does exist for awhile. But eventually paradox space will erase it. And if a person hasn’t died before the timeline is erased they won’t show up as a ghost in the furthest ring, this is why Meenah killed her team when they scratched and why there are no Gamzee ghosts, because he was always alive when the timeline was erased.

There isn’t answer in canon. There’s a theory that he stopped talking to him because Caliborn is in a doomed timeline. Hussie may have just gotten tired of talking to a stunted alien tool.

Act 6 definitely looks bigger than it is considering there were over two years worth of “pauses” during it.

It’s past 3am here but I’ll be staying up. The Homestuck reddit are holding a livestream for the occasion. I’ll be watching that.
