i vaguely remember it mentioning somewhere that alternian battleships could go faster than the speed of light. s'that correct or am i misremembering?

The Condesce’s ship (the fastest of Alternia’s battleships) could go near lightspeed using only auxiliary power. So it is likely that all Alternian battleships could go at the very least that fast.

What's the deal with those blue lady paintings? Are they from something other than homestuck or are they just a weirdly specific homestuck creation? Hussie puts in so many easter eggs and references that it's hard to tell

No, Terezi’s will power kinda fluctuates throughout the story so she might have been able to at one point. Like Pre-Retcon Terezi that was a fckin mess probably could have been controlled

Jade can move at near light speed, Itchy can’t go quite that fast

and the other two were not counting special Powers or Abilities which Itchy has

are the serkets the only highbloods who can mind control? are they able to mind control other high bloods? (like vriska mind controlling terezi)

They can control any troll with a weak enough will. Gamzee was controlled by Aranea, but Vriska wasn’t able to manipulate pre-Hivebent Terezi.

Since there was a point about getting to name the Lususes (Lusi?) in Hiveswap -- did we ever learn the names of any of the Lususes in Homestuck? (Did any of them explicitly not have names?)
