They are from the Beta kids’ session. They get exiled to Earth, 413 years after the kids start the game then PM and WV go through a teleporter to get to the Trolls’ universe. WV spends three years on the Meteor while PM spends the time tailing Bec Noir who is tailing the Meteor.

not quite sure about that answer about which timeline is the alpha...i thought that when someone changed the past the changed timeline becomes the alpha and the one they come from is doomed (hence "dead daves piling up"), other timelines dont pop out of nowhere...?

The changed timeline is always the alpha timeline. Doomed timelines exist to maintain the alpha timeline. That person was always meant to travel back and change that thing and alter what would have been their timeline into the alpha one.

What trolls has each kid had contact with? Say - I know for a fact Dave has been in contact with equius before, but I don't know if Dave and Sollux have ever spoken... and I know Jade has chatted with feferi before, but I don't know if she's ever spoken to kanaya, etc
