wait so in the retconned timeline, jade is put to sleep before she can teleport everyone and screw around. but in the pre-retcon timeline shes screwing around and she goes through one of the skaian defense portals and shrinks earth. how does she get earth again if she was put to sleep before the kids even got off the meteor? (refer to 008178)

Wait, KarkatGamzee exclusively pre-retcon? I thought their moirailegience went as far back as Hivebent, and that they just broke up earlier in the retcon timeline.

I mean, Karkat hated Gamzee at the start of Hivebent. And neither of them were really destructive enough to need a moirail until Gamz went all up and started murdering peeps

so, say that nothing "out there" happened in Act 7, just all the plot loops being closed, and the cherubs will eventually be born on Earth. (my personal interpretation is that the kids would ensure LE never exists, but no one else is saying that). my question is why would the kids abandon earth, letting it become a wasteland? i know the star it orbits is dying, but they've moved a planet once before... its just very upsetting to think about...

Vriska says that they’re in some quadrant together. And Dave says he “gets” the quadrants but has never had a reason to put that knowledge into practice so that kinda excludes all quadrants outside the one most similar to the human relationship.
