I could've sworn sprites not entering the new world was canon. Aren't they even drawn to the battlefield during the reckoning as a way of killing them off? I'm almost certain I've read that at some point.

That’s only theorized, besides the kids’ Reckoning happened in the Beta session so the sprites that survived that and the Alpha sprites were very much still around
