There are more than one kind of Paradox.
The kind I’m talking about is a Loop Paradox, where two points cause each other like John making the kids, but in order for John to have been able to make the kids he had to make himself also as well.
The kind you’re talking about is an Unstable Temporal Paradox where something changes something which would stop the first thing from coming back and changing it. This is what happened with Davesprite and why all characters from doomed timelines are doomed themselves.

Nanna and Grandpa were adopted siblings, they were raised together
in act 7 do you think Aradia was pulled in by the black hole. she was dangerously close to one and I'm pretty sure her wings wouldn't be strong enough to escape and she isn't shown using her powers in the initial animation

Is it possible that the Ring of Life only needs to be worn once, and can then be taken off without turning back into a ghost? Or was it confirmed you need to keep wearing it?
