Hussie has said once (answering a question about the characters' races) that even though john calls bro a 'white rapper' in text, that was just an amusing line to him and you could still imagine bro looking however you wanted. I think even text based appearance facts are kind of dodgy then, based on that.

Gee friend, we sure would love to make that into a fact but if you looked at our submission guildlines then you would know that any facts about personal appearances would fly about as well as a lead balloon; and I mean a balloon made out of solid lead, not like the thin lead one they made on mythbusters that was capable of flight.
